We are a small team of passionate facilitators here to support you. Together, we will explore what diabetes is, how to monitor it, and tools for daily self-management. This is a safe space to share your experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.

Location: Guildford and Waverley, with our central base being in Guildford at Royal Surrey Hospital, GU2 7XX

Area covered: We support all Guildford and Waverley GP practice referrals. Face-to-face sessions are currently run in Guildford and Cranleigh.  Remote evening sessions are also offered for those unable to attend in-person sessions or prefer evenings.

How do I get booked onto a course: You can request a referral from your practice nurse or GP. An invite letter will then be sent out to you with upcoming dates.

What do you offer? We offer face-to-face and remote Desmond sessions for anyone with Type 2 Diabetes. Following attendance, all are offered the opportunity to access the MyDesmond platform, to recap and expand on their knowledge.
