Overview
Group sessions are delivered face-to-face over two half-day afternoon sessions, each lasting three hours and held one week apart, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Led by a Specialist Diabetes Nurse and Dietitian, the sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about Type 2 diabetes, share experiences, ask questions, and build confidence in managing your condition.
Topics include healthy eating, treatments, blood glucose monitoring, and practical self-management strategies. We will also signpost you to local resources and offer ongoing one-to-one dietetic support, where appropriate, to help you continue your diabetes management journey.
